What is one thing that you can say about Halloween? Most people just like Halloween because it is scary and at the same time cute. Some people may associate it to their childhood because children may have loved Halloween because of trick or treating. Surely, this is one cute wallpaper that you can have at your wallpaper because of the pumpkins that you can find on the side of the screen. The pumpkins seem to be lighted up with orange colored light inside so you can be sure that they will look scary and appealing at the same time.

This is one dark wallpaper that you can have on your screen.

Several themes are shown in Appearance and Personalization in the Control Panel. However clicking on a theme only changes the desktop background to just one of the options in that theme.

There is no obvious way to open the theme to choose another imageoption. How do I do this? Also, depending on the theme chosen, avery thin coloured border around a window is apparent if you look closely but the top bar remains white. This makes it difficult to identify the top of a window to close it or move it around the desktop if several are open at the same time. How canI change the colour of the top of a window? Only Settings seems to have a coloured top (and background).Other colour options are available in Personalization in Settings, but there is no apparent way of saving them.

I've chosen a slideshow of my photos for the background but the desktop option originally selected from Appearance and Personalizationhasn't changed. When you select a Theme in the Themes control panel, the active wallpaper is set to the first image in the theme. You're at that point in slideshow mode: the next image will show up whenever the slideshow is set to cycle to the next image. You can rightclick on the desktop and choose 'Next desktop background' to advance to the next image.

Otherwise you can just wait and the new image will show up.:)Active windows have a colored border and dark fonts and icons.Inactive windows have a blurred border and faded fonts and icons. There's no way to directly change the color of the top of the window in Windows 10 outside of using a High Contrast theme. The Windows 10 Insider beta 10525 build adds the ability to change the color of the top of the window: presumably that means it'llbe available to normal users in an update later this year. The options chosen in Settings::Personalization are automatically saved to your theme file. Currently the Settings::Personalization::Background page does not accurately reflect the images selected via a theme: you can politely ignore that. Or select anew image or image folder there, and then your theme will be updated with that.:)Windows development team Speaking for myself only. I haven't noticed the faded fonts and icons though. As I said, I chose a slideshow of my holiday photos in Settings/Personalization/Background but it hasn't materialized. I wonder why not. ZachdThe difference between the current window being used (the active one) and others that are open is so minimal that I have far too often shut down the wrong window by mistake.

Having a clear difference is essential for me and there are a lot that would likea much more easily identifiable difference that was available in previous versions of Windows.I've tried the high contrast settings and they are awful.I do hope that the update that allows a simple colour difference at the top appears very soon. You quoted a person who had commented about:'I do hope that the update that allows a simple colour difference at the top appears very soon.' And that's what I was responding to.Fat borders is a different thing. You can mostly get that via High Contrast themes.

Given the dangers of third party theme editing, I wouldn't say that it's being outsourced in any capacity. People can evidently help you hack your system to do that, but- that's definitely not officially supported nor supportable as it currently stands. Theme versioning is an interesting interesting thing.

Windows development team Speaking for myself only. Please be more specific. 'This was addressed' means that someone read a support log.

What I want is a solution to the the problem. Where do I go to set the border width on all windows to be 3 or 5 or whatever number I want.
